MPU Leave App
MPU Leave app is an all-in-one solution for managing employee leave, entitlements, and approvals within Microsoft Power Platform.

This app can be used to do the following:

Request and manage employee leave, including sickness and annual time off

View personal leave entitlements and leave history

Approve or reject leave requests based on organizational policies

Track public and company-specific holidays

Visualize all leave data in a calendar format for better planning and team coordination
If you are an employee, you can:

Submit leave or sickness requests directly within the app

View your remaining leave balance and entitlements

Monitor the status of submitted requests in real time
If you are a line manager or administrator, you can:

Review, approve, or reject pending leave requests

Manage leave types, absence reasons, and entitlement policies

Configure bank holidays and view scheduled absences for your team

Launch approval flows and monitor overall absence trends
Leave Requests
Used by employees to submit and manage their leave requests, users can select leave type, date range.
Leave Entitlements
Displays each employee’s current leave balance, including entitlement, carried forward, taken, and remaining days. Helps users track usage and plan leave accordingly.
Sickness
Used to log sickness absences, including type of illness and duration. Managers and HR can view and assess sick leave records.
Calendar
Interactive calendar view showing approved and pending leave. Employees see their own events; managers see their team’s absences.
Leave Types
Admin configuration screen to define and manage available leave categories such as Annual Leave, Sick Leave, and Parental Leave.
Absence Reasons
Used to create standardized reasons for leave, enhancing reporting and compliance. Admins can define categories such as “Medical Appointment,” “Personal Emergency,” etc.
Bank Holidays
Allows admins to manage official public holidays by region or country. These dates are automatically factored into leave calculations.
